Paid Media & Advertising
Data-driven advertising campaigns
Overview
Every paid channel has its own economics and its own way of failing. Search sells you ready buyers and will happily sell you time-wasters at the same price. Paid social stopped being a targeting problem and became a creative production problem. Display can spend an enormous budget on impressions nobody saw.
So we buy each channel on its own terms, fix measurement before bidding, and run holdout tests where attribution cannot answer the question. That includes telling you when a channel is not worth funding at your budget.
Who this is for
- Advertisers whose cost per acquisition has climbed while volume stayed flat
- Companies whose channel reports claim more revenue than the business made
- Teams whose accounts have not been properly audited in a year
Everything we cover in Paid Media & Advertising
Each one links through to scope, typical deliverables and how the work runs.
Search Engine Advertising
Google and Microsoft Ads run against profit rather than clicks: intent-led account structure, negative keyword discipline, and bidding tied to what a customer is actually worth.
Paid Social Advertising
Paid social where the creative does the targeting: Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok run with enough creative volume to keep learning, and measurement that survives the loss of the pixel.
Display & Programmatic Advertising
Programmatic display bought with attention to where the impression actually appeared: inventory quality, fraud and viewability controlled first, then measured by what it added.
Programmatic DOOH
Digital out of home bought programmatically: screens selected by location and moment, triggered by conditions that matter, and measured by what happened rather than by impressions claimed.
Connected TV Advertising
Television on streaming platforms with digital controls: audience targeting, frequency capping that actually holds, and measurement tied to site visits and sales rather than to panel estimates.
Mobile Advertising
In-app and mobile web advertising with the measurement problem solved first: attribution that works under current privacy frameworks, and creative built for a thumb rather than a mouse.
Retargeting & Remarketing
Retargeting that adds sales instead of taking credit for them: segmented by intent, capped so it does not follow people around, and tested to prove it is doing anything at all.
Performance Campaign Setup
Building a new campaign properly from the start: tracking before traffic, structure that can be read later, and the decision rules agreed before anyone has a stake in the answer.
Cross-Channel Media
Running paid channels as one system: shared audiences and frequency, budget moved on evidence, and one measurement approach so the channels stop competing for the same credit.
Budget & ROI Optimisation
Working out what each channel actually returns, where the next unit of budget should go, and at what point additional spend stops paying for itself.
Common questions about Paid Media & Advertising
The things people ask before they get in touch. If yours is not here, ask us directly.
What is a realistic minimum media budget?
It varies by channel. Search needs roughly three to five thousand a month in most markets before automated bidding has enough signal; connected TV needs considerably more to reach useful frequency. We will tell you when a channel is below its viable threshold rather than underfunding it.
Do we keep control of our own ad accounts?
Always. Everything is built in accounts you own, with documented structure, so the work is portable whether or not we stay involved.
Why do the platform numbers not match our sales?
Platforms use view-through and modelled conversions and each attributes generously to itself, so the totals across platforms routinely exceed actual revenue. That is why we run geographic holdout tests, which measure what would have happened without the spend.
Multi-market delivery
Teams that have shipped across regions, languages and regulatory regimes.
Built for review
Security, accessibility and privacy handled during the build, not bolted on at audit.
Measured, not assumed
Every engagement agrees its success metric before work starts.
