Creative Campaigns
Campaign ideas with a thought at the centre, built to work across channels and to be measured, rather than a set of matching assets.
Overview
A campaign is not a set of assets that share a colour. It is one idea, expressed differently in each place it appears, that a person could repeat back to you afterwards. Most campaigns fail that test: they are consistent and forgettable.
We work from a strategic problem to an idea, then to expressions per channel, then to a measurement plan agreed before launch. The last part is what separates a campaign from a burst of activity everyone remembers fondly and nobody can evaluate.
Who this is for
- Companies with a launch or a moment that needs coordinated attention
- Brands whose advertising is competent and unmemorable
- Teams running channel activity with no idea connecting it
How we approach creative campaigns
The specific pieces of work a typical engagement covers. Scope is agreed up front — nothing here is a surprise line item later.
Strategic platform
The thought at the centre, in one sentence. If it takes a paragraph it will not survive contact with a media plan.
Concept development
Several routes explored properly, not one favoured idea with two deliberately weaker alternatives beside it.
Channel expression
How the idea works in each place, written for the format rather than adapted from a master version.
Asset production
Film, design, writing and digital assets produced to a consistent standard across the set.
Measurement design
How success will be judged, agreed before launch and including a holdout where the budget allows.
Rollout planning
Sequence and timing across channels, including what leads and what follows.
From first call to measured result
The same sequence every time, so you always know what happens next.
Brief
Agree the actual problem and the single thing the campaign has to achieve. Most weak campaigns start from a weak brief.
Develop
Explore routes, present them honestly, and choose with the reasoning recorded.
Produce
Build the assets across channels, keeping the idea intact as it adapts to each format.
Launch and measure
Roll out on the agreed sequence and report against the measures set before launch, including what did not work.
Outcomes, not deliverables
A pile of artefacts isn't progress. These are the changes the work is meant to produce — and what we report against.
Something people remember
One idea repeated in different forms is what creates recall. Matching assets alone do not.
Media that works harder
A distinctive idea needs less frequency to register, which shows directly in media efficiency.
An honest verdict
Measurement agreed in advance means the campaign gets evaluated rather than celebrated.
A platform you can reuse
A strong idea supports several waves, which is far cheaper than starting again each quarter.
Common questions about Creative Campaigns
The things people ask before they get in touch. If yours is not here, ask us directly.
How long does campaign development take?
Four to six weeks from brief to approved concept, then production depending on scope. Compressing the development stage is the most common way campaigns end up as matching assets with no idea.
How do we know if a campaign worked?
By deciding beforehand what would count. Brand measures need a survey or a lift study; response measures need a holdout. Both are cheaper set up in advance than reconstructed afterwards, which is usually impossible.
Can you work with our media agency?
Yes, and the earlier they are involved the better. Campaigns developed without the media plan in view tend to produce ideas that only work in one channel.
What if we do not like any of the routes?
Then the brief was wrong, and we go back to it rather than producing more routes against the same problem. That conversation is uncomfortable and much cheaper than the alternative.
